UHS Newsletter, 4/27

Note from the Director Hello UHS residents, Welcome to week five of the residence life newsletter. I just wanted to take a moment to remind you to continue to take care of yourselves and seek resources if you need them. One resource I’d like to highlight is the CPP Basic Needs Emergency Grant. The purpose of this grant is to support student success by providing a one-time grant of up to $500 to assist with an unforeseen emergency, crisis, or catastrophic event. This grant is a last-resort source of funding for students who cannot reasonably resolve their financial difficulty through scholarships, loans or other Financial Aid awards. To apply, students must be able to demonstrate how the nature of the crisis impacts them financially and their ability to persist and complete their education. Learn about grant eligibility and how to apply here.
