Finals Study Tips

It's finals week, Broncos! Here are some tips about how to best navigate this week. Tips adapted from time.com.

1. Verify the details

Double-check with your faculty member to see when your final ACTUALLY is. It might not be at the same time class is usually held- and there may be important instructions since all finals are being held remotely.

2. Get some sleep

Brains need sleep to remember information- make an active effort this week to get an appropriate amount of ZZZ's. The best way to ensure a good night's sleep is to eat a healthy diet, stay hydrated, and stop using technology an hour before bedtime.

4. Eat well

Eating unhealthy snacks is SUPER tempting- but treat your brain right by feeding it the right type of food to stay focused. Consider eating food that is low in sugar, with healthy fats and proteins to keep you full and focused.

5. Take a (Social Media) Break

Consider intentionally planning breaks in your studying to check in on Social Media. When break time comes, set a timer for 15 minutes. Go all in on consuming, and once 15 minutes is up- put your phone away and continue studying. By using this strategy, you get to enjoy social media (and not feel guilty about it!)

Best of luck, Broncos!
